While not a big reader, the reviews on the back cover convinced me to buy "Icefire".

I first saw this book at a stall in Midway airport and decided to not buy it because it seemed implausible that a wave could command a book of 600 pages.

Just finished Icefire, and thought that the action sequences on the Ice in the beginning were very good, but the suspense building moments in the Pentagon seem to bog the story down in a barrage of initials that even i lost track of their meaning.
