I have a mini lathe of course so the reason for buying the book is obvious, however it is a good book with a lot of tips and projects..

This is sort of like reading a service manual , it is informative and will help familiarize the reader with the uses and prep of there new tool!.

Although a very well written book, it is skewed toward the more experienced hobby machinist.

Very nice book, but it is part of a series of maybe a hundred so each book only covers a few projects.
