28 February 2013Life as it was in the 50's - heart warming, and sometimes heart wrenching
I decided to read Jennifer Worth's books after seeing the first season of "Call the Midwife" on PBS, not sure if I would be disappointed, since sometimes a TV series only vaguely follows the original written word,
No disappointment here - Ms Worth has a wonderful style of writing, and tells it all - joy and sorrow.
