Amazing
It's a great book about research on alternative medicine and how each branch in the area tries to forego the fact that it's science based, but has no better effect than placebo according to science..

Snake Oil Science-A Must Read for Thinking People
The PhD author of this book was employed by the Complementary and Alternative Medicine branch of the National Institutes of Health to set up rigorous scientific studies to evaluate the effect of acupuncture on pain.

Excellent book for education on snake oil medicine
Excellent book that not only gives a clear view of how the placebo effect works but also goes into great detail on how to do proper tests as well as how certain things like false positives might come about..
