This is a beautiful wine which is bright ruby in colour. Intensley fruity on the nose, the aromas are reminiscent of black cherry, wild blackberry and liquorice. The woody character is subtle and marries delicately with the other aromas. As the wine evolves, there are more complex notes, such as mild spice, nutmeg and leather.
Although present on the palate, tannin is never astringent but blends itself harmoniously with the nautral freshness and "gras" (velvety texture) of the wine. The same aromas encountered earlier on the nose are found again in the aftertaste.

Distinctive Features: The best berries from the Morino estate vineyard in La Morra are selected for a slow aging process in barriques. An accurate bâtonnage guarantees a full and lasting taste for Chardonnay, made to always accompany and amaze those who drink it.
Vinification: The carefully selected grapes from the Morino vineyard are de-stemmed and macerated in the cold for 24-48 hours. The crushed grapes undergo a soft pressing and after fermentation, the wine is left to rest on the lees in French oak barrels, with periodic batonage.
