I bought the SC3 adaptor, thinking that since I have already bought the Rode SmartLav+, I could use such mic with video cameras or while recording videos or doing live streamings from my PC.

Overpriced..
15 March 2015Useless with a Zoom audio recorder
This does not work with the Zoom H4N audio recorder.
12 March 2015does the trick but is not perfect!
Although this is a handy piece of hardware, it does convert the TRRS to TRS correctly however some digital audio recorders do not except this conversion without a lot of play with the cord.
